Managing Performance Monitoring Agents
APM Agents use bytecode enhancement technology to collect application performance data in real time. They run on the server where applications are deployed.
Procedure
- Log in to the APM console.
- Click
on the left and choose Management & Governance > Application Performance Management. - In the navigation pane, choose Performance Monitoring > Agent Management.
- View the Agent list.
- Filter Agents by application, component, environment, IP address, or host.
- Click
in the upper right corner of the list and select the columns to display.
The following table describes the Agent statuses.
| Status | Description |
|---|---|
| Normal | The Agent is running properly. |
| Offline | The Agent is abnormal due to a network error. Check and restore the network. |
| Disabled | The Agent is manually or globally disabled. Contact technical support. |
Other Operations
- In the navigation pane, choose Performance Monitoring > Agent Management.
- Select target objects and click Operation.
- In the drop-down list, select Disable Agent, Enable Agent, or Delete Agent.
- In the dialog box that is displayed, click Yes to disable, enable, or delete the Agents for the selected hosts.
