Managing a Read Replica
Entering the Management Interface Through a Read Replica
- Log in to the management console.
- Click in the upper left corner and select a region and a project.
- Click Service List. Under Database, click Relational Database Service. The RDS console is displayed.
- In the DB instance list, click to expand the DB instance details and click the target read replica to go to the Basic Information page.
Entering the Management Interface Through a Primary DB Instance
- Log in to the management console.
- Click in the upper left corner and select a region and a project.
- Click Service List. Under Database, click Relational Database Service. The RDS console is displayed.
- Click the name of the primary DB instance with which the target read replica is associated to go to the Basic Information page.
- In the DB instance topology, click the target read replica. You can view and manage it in the displayed pane.
Deleting a Read Replica
- Log in to the management console.
- Click in the upper left corner and select a region and a project.
- Click Service List. Under Database, click Relational Database Service. The RDS console is displayed.
- In the DB instance list, click in front of a DB instance, locate the read replica to be deleted, and choose in the Operation column.
