Can the SMS Platform Send Uplink SMS Messages to Corresponding Destination Addresses in Different Applications? Is Sending Uplink SMS Messages Charged? (Chinese Mainland SMS)

After a user sends an SMS message to the carrier, the carrier charges the user for the SMS message. After the SMS platform receives an uplink SMS message pushed by the SMS gateway, the SMS platform checks Uplink SMS Destination configured when you create an SMS application and forwards the uplink SMS message to the destination address. Forwarding uplink SMS messages to destination addresses are free of charge.

If you want to classify uplink SMS messages by applications, perform either of the following steps:

• Set Uplink SMS Destination to a unique value when you create each SMS application.
• If you create multiple SMS applications with Uplink SMS Destination set to the same value, use the to parameter contained in an uplink SMS message request to deliver the uplink SMS message receiver's number (that is, a channel number). The SMS platform uses the channel number to search for a matching signature name and then uses the signature name to identify the corresponding application.
