Preparations
When you log in with your Huawei Cloud account, you do not need to perform this preparation step. If you are using an IAM user account, please confirm whether you are in the admin group. If you are not in the admin group, you will need to (Optional) Creating the rf_admin_trust Agency to your IAM account and complete the following preparation steps.
Authorization for logging into the CCE console in English
This chapter is only applicable to the CCE high availability version.
To create a CCE cluster using this solution, you must have previously logged into the CCE console and completed the relevant authorization.
If this is your first time using CCE, please follow the steps below for authorization:
- Log in to the CCE console with your Huawei account.
- Click the region name in the upper-left corner of the console and select your region.
- When logging into the CCE console for the first time in a specific region, an "Authorization Notice" will appear. After carefully reading it, click "Confirm".
Obtain Huawei Cloud MaaS API Key
Go to Southwest-Guiyang 1, log in to the MaaS console, and select the target region in the top navigation bar.
In the left navigation bar, select "Management & Statistics > API Key Management."
On the "API Key Management" page, click "Create API Key," configure basic information and permission settings, then click "Create."
Tags cannot be modified after creation.
In the "Your API Key" dialog box, carefully read the prompt information, copy the key and save it to a secure location, then click "I have saved, confirm to close."
(Optional) Creating the rf_admin_trust Agency
- Log in to the Huawei Cloud official website, open the console, hover over the account name, and choose Identity and Access Management. Figure 4 Console page

- Choose Agencies in the left navigation pane and search for the rf_admin_trust agency. Figure 6 Agencies
- If the agency is found, skip the following steps.
- If the agency is not found, perform the following steps to create it.
- Click Create Agency in the upper right corner of the page. On the displayed page, enter rf_admin_trust for Agency Name, select Cloud service for Agency Type and RFS for Cloud Service, and click Next. Figure 7 Creating the rf_admin_trust agency
- Search for Tenant Administrator, select it in the search results, and click Next. Figure 8 Selecting a policy/role

- Check that the rf_admin_trust agency is created and displayed in the agency list. Figure 10 Agencies
