What Should I Do If "index compaction not finished" Is Displayed?

To ensure data consistency, each DELETE statement will trigger index compaction. If DELETE is executed too quickly or there are too many time series, the system is overloaded by frequent index compactions, and the preceding error may be reported.

If the error is reported, stop executing DELETE immediately. No further action is required. The system will recover after a period.

Avoid using DELETE to delete data. For details, see What Do I Do If "delete is forbidden" Is Reported?
