How Can I Manually Create the RDSAccessProjectResource Agency?

An agency grants cloud services the permissions to automatically scale up storage or support other scenarios. You need to manually create the RDSAccessProjectResource agency, which is visible to you. If you delete it, automatic storage scale-up will fail.

You can perform the following steps to add an agency:

1. Log in to the IAM console.
2. In the navigation pane, choose Agencies. On the displayed page, search for RDSAccessProjectResource.

   If the agency cannot be found, click Create Agency in the upper right corner.

3. On the displayed page, set agency parameters.

   • Agency Name: Enter RDSAccessProjectResource.
   • Agency Type: Select Cloud service.
   • Cloud Service: Search for op_svc_rds and select Database Service (DBS).
   • Validity Period: Select Unlimited.

4. Click OK.

   If you do not need to authorize the agency, click Cancel to return to the agency list and view the created agency. The agency does not have any permissions.

5. In the displayed dialog box, click Authorize.
6. Search for and select DBS AgencyPolicy. Click Next.

7. Select Region-specific projects and the target region. Click OK.
