Why Is a Deleted Server Still Displayed in the HSS Server List?

After a server is deleted, the server list on the HSS console is not updated immediately. The update mechanism varies depending on the server type.

  • Huawei Cloud servers (such as ECSs and BMSs):
After a server is deleted, HSS does not refresh the list immediately. Therefore, you may still see the deleted ECS in the HSS server list. The synchronization mechanism is as follows:
    • A synchronization task is automatically executed once every early morning to update the server list. After the synchronization is complete, you can view the latest server list.
    • HSS starts synchronization immediately when you go to the Asset Management > Servers & Quota page and will complete the server information update in about 10 minutes. You can then refresh the Servers & Quota page and view the latest server list.
  • Third-party servers

After a server is deleted, the agent status of the server on the HSS console changes to Offline. The server will be removed from the server list if it has been offline for 30 days.
