What Are the Differences Between Application Monitoring Under Application Monitoring and that Under Process Monitoring?

The AOM 2.0 console provides two Application Monitoring functions, which have different navigation paths and functions.

• Navigation path: Application Monitoring > Application Monitoring

  Monitors applications with APM Agents installed, provides application performance information (such as the latency, throughput, error rate, and JVM), and supports code-level fault locating through tracing.

• Navigation path: Infrastructure Monitoring > Process Monitoring > Application Monitoring

  Monitors applications and components discovered based on application discovery rules, provides resource information (such as the CPU, memory, and running status), and allows you to view monitoring information by application, component, instance, and process.
