Rate Limit

Description

The number of requests allowed from a website visitor in the rate limit period. If the number of requests exceeds the rate limit, WAF takes the action you configure for Protective Action.

The following shows an example.

If you set Rate Limit to 10 requests within 60 seconds and Protective Action to Block, WAF will block requests from the same visitor when the visitor accesses the website for more than 10 times within 60 seconds.
