Use Layer 7 Proxy

Description

• Yes: Layer-7 web proxy products, such as anti-DDoS, CDN, and other cloud acceleration services, are used.
• No: No layer-7 proxy products are used.

If your website has layer-7 proxy servers such as CDN and cloud acceleration products deployed in front of WAF, select Yes for Proxy Configured. This ensures that WAF obtains real client IP addresses as WAF protection takes effect only for real client IP addresses where the requests initiate. In addition, there may be multiple IP addresses in the source IP address field. To ensure that WAF obtains the real IP address of the visitor who sends the request, add an IP traffic identifier for the protected website (for example, CDN-Src-IP can be added for a CDN proxy).
