Configuring the SFS Turbo Data Eviction Policy

After an OBS bucket is added as the storage backend of an SFS Turbo HPC file system, you are advised to configure a cold data eviction duration. Once configured, SFS Turbo will automatically delete files that have not been accessed within the specified period and retain only their metadata. Deleted data no longer occupies the file system storage space. When such files are accessed later, the file data is loaded from OBS.

  1. Log in to the SFS console.
  2. In the file system list, click the name of the HPC file system to go to its details page.
  3. On the Basic Info tab, configure a cold data eviction duration.

Only the data that has been exported to OBS before and that meets the eviction rule will be deleted.
