Updating a Label

Function

Updating the labels of database edition graphs will overwrite the existing labels. Updating a label only affects the vertices and edges created afterwards, and does not affect the existing ones.

Label type, indicating that the label is used for vertices or edges. The options are as follows:

  • vertex: indicates that the label is used for vertices.
  • edge: indicates that the label is used for edges.
  • all: indicates that the label is used for vertices and edges.

The default value is all.

  2. A property name cannot contain <, >, &, ASCCI 14,15 and 30.
  3. The property under a label must be unique.
