Creating a Database Account

Function

This API is used to create a database account. Before calling this API:

Learn how to authorize and authenticate it.
Obtain the required region and endpoint.

URI

POST /v3/{project_id}/instances/{instance_id}/clickhouse/users

project_id	Yes	String	Project ID of a tenant in a region. To obtain this value, see Obtaining a Project ID.
instance_id	Yes	String	ClickHouse instance ID, which is compliant with the UUID format.

Request Parameters

X-Auth-Token	Yes	String	User token. To obtain this value, call the IAM API for obtaining a user token. The value of X-Subject-Token in the response header is the token value.
X-Language	No	String	Request language type. The default value is en-us. Values: en-us zh-cn

**Table 3** Request body parameters
Parameter	Mandatory	Type	Description
user_name	Yes	String	Username of the database account. The username can be 2 to 32 characters long. It must start with a lowercase letter and end with a lowercase letter or digit. Only lowercase letters, digits, and underscores (_) are allowed.
password	Yes	String	Account password. The password must: Consist of 8 to 32 characters. Contain at least three of the following: uppercase letters, lowercase letters, digits, and special characters ~!@#%^*-_=+? Be different from the username or the username spelled backwards.
databases	Yes	Array of strings	Database list. The asterisk (*) indicates all databases.
dml	No	Integer	DML permissions. The default value is 2. Values: 1: read-only permissions 2: read and configure permissions
