Importing a CA Certificate

Function

This API is used to import a CA certificate. To use this API, the following conditions must be met:

  • (1) A subordinate CA must be in the "PENDING" state.

  • (2) The imported certificate body must meet the following requirements:

    • a. The certificate signing request must be exported from the PCA system when the certificate is issued.

    • b. The completed certificate chain must be imported if you need to export a complete certificate chain later.

    • c. The certificate body and chain must be in PEM format.

Authorization Information

Each account has all the permissions required to call all APIs, but IAM users must be assigned the required permissions.

  • If you are using role/policy-based authorization, see Permissions Policies and Supported Actions for details on the required permissions.
  • If you are using identity policy-based authorization, the following identity policy-based permissions are required.
