Updating or Binding an EIP to a Dedicated Gateway

Function

This API is used to bind an EIP to a dedicated gateway or update the EIP bound to a dedicated gateway (only available for LVS gateways).

Authorization Information

Each account has all the permissions required to call all APIs, but IAM users must be assigned the required permissions.

  • If you are using role/policy-based authorization, see Permissions Policies and Supported Actions for details on the required permissions.
  • If you are using identity policy-based authorization, the following identity policy-based permissions are required.

  • BINDING: The EIP is being bound.

  • PENDING_CREATE: The EIP is being created.

  • NOTIFYING: The EIP is being created.

  • NOTIFY_DELETE: The EIP is being released.

  • PENDING_UPDATE: The EIP is being updated.

  • DOWN: The EIP has not been bound.

  • ACTIVE: The EIP has been bound.

  • ELB: The EIP has been bound to a load balancer.

  • VPN: The EIP has been bound to a VPN.

  • ERROR: The EIP is failed.
