Viewing Nodes in a Cluster
After a cluster is added to UCS, you can access the cluster console from UCS to view node information in a cluster.
- Log in to the UCS console and click the cluster name to access the cluster console.
- In the navigation pane, choose Nodes to view the node information in the cluster.
- Choose More > View Pods in the Operation column of the target node to view pods running on the current node.
- Click View Events to view node events.
- Choose More > Disable Scheduling in the Operation column of the target node to set the node as non-schedulable so that new pods cannot be scheduled to this node.
Creating a Node
- Log in to the UCS console and click the cluster name to access the cluster console.
- In the navigation pane, choose Nodes. On the Nodes tab, click Create Node in the upper right corner.
- Enter a node name and select the required specifications. You can select the disk size and number of data disks as required.
- Click Next: Confirm.
- Confirm the specifications and click Submit. If you have any questions, click Previous to modify the specifications.
- During node creation, the AZ, node type, container engine, OS, system disk, and data disk type cannot be selected.
- The number of data disks can be increased as required. A maximum of four data disks can be added.
- The default minimum size of a data disk or system disk is 100 GB.
Deleting a Node
- Log in to the UCS console and click the cluster name to access the cluster console.
- In the navigation pane, choose Nodes.
- Select the nodes to be deleted, click More above Node Name, and select Delete to delete nodes in batches.
- To delete a single node, click More of the target node and select Delete.
- Click Yes.
