Application Scenarios
Connecting to databases using certificates and SSL is secure, which ensures the integrity and confidentiality of data during transmission. However, the performance may deteriorate. If your business is sensitive to synchronization performance, you need to strike a balance between performance and security.
Solution
Configure SSL certificates for the source and destination databases. For details, see Checking Whether the SSL Certificate of the Source Database Exists and Checking Whether the SSL Certificate of the Destination Database Exists.
Rule Logic
- If SSL is not configured for the source or destination database of a DRS task, the check result is non-compliant.
- If SSL is configured for both the source and destination databases of a DRS task, the check result is compliant.
