Installing RemoteApp Program
For bastion host systems of V3.3.26.0 or later, RemoteAppProxy must be installed on application publishing servers.
Prerequisites
You have obtained the account and its password of the server administrator.
Procedure
- Log in to the server as the administrator.
- Download the RemoteAPPProxyInstaller_xxx.zip (xxx indicates the version number) package. Download RemoteAppProxy2.1.2 (compatible with version 3.3.26.0 and later).
The server must have an EIP bound.
- Decompress RemoteAPPProxyInstaller_xxx.zip (xxx indicates the version number).
- Double-click RemoteAPPProxyInstaller_xxx.msi (xxx indicates the version number) to start the installation.
Select the default installation path.
- After the installation completes, click Close.
Related Operations
If the IP address or domain name of the requested bastion host is a public IP address or domain name but the installed application server is not bound to a public IP address, perform the following steps to establish the network connection. Otherwise, when the Windows application is called, the call fails and a message is displayed indicating that the connection is disconnected.
- Log in to the application server.
- Create the RemoteAPPProxy.conf text file in the C:\DevOpsTools\RemoteAPPProxy\ directory.
- Manually add a line of configuration information to the RemoteAPPProxy.conf file.
ServiceAddress = https://ip:port
In the preceding information, ip indicates the private IP address of the bastion host, and port is 443.
