Managing Window Variables

You can bring a variable online or take it offline, edit, or delete it.

Only online variables can be taken offline.

Bringing a Variable Online

  1. Log in to the RTD web UI as a service user and select a tenant. For details, see Accessing the RTDService Web UI.
  2. Choose Business Management > Variable and Rule Configuration > Window Variables.
  3. Bring a variable online.

    • Bringing variables online in batches

      Select multiple variables you want to bring online and choose More > Online.

    • Bringing a variable online

      Click Online in the Operation column of the variable you want to bring online.

Taking a Variable Offline

  1. Log in to the RTD web UI as a service user and select a tenant. For details, see Accessing the RTDService Web UI.
  2. Choose Business Management > Variable and Rule Configuration > Window Variables.
  3. Take variables offline.

    • Taking variables offline in batches

      Select multiple variables you want to take offline and choose More > Offline.

    • Taking a single variable offline

      Click Offline in the Operation column of the variable you want to take offline.

      Only online variables can be taken offline.
