Deleting a BLU

Scenario

When a service is no longer used, you can delete BLUs and groups to release idle resources and improve resource utilization.

Prerequisites

A BLU that is no longer used is available.

Procedure

  1. Log in to FusionInsight Manager.
  2. Choose Cluster > Services > Containers, and click the Business Manager tab.
  3. Click the group to which the BLU to be deleted belongs in the list box on the left.

    A group cannot be deleted until the configuration set and BLUs in it are deleted.

    • To delete a configuration set, perform the following operations: Log in to FusionInsight Manager and choose Cluster > Services > Containers. Click Business Manager. In the left pane, click More in the Operation column of the group to which the configuration set to be deleted belongs, and select Config Set. In the dialog box displayed, click Delete next to the configuration set, and delete the configuration set as prompted.
    • To delete a BLU, go to 4.

  4. In the right pane, locate the row that contains the BLU to be deleted, and click in the Operation column. In the Verify Identity dialog box, enter the password and click OK.
  5. In the Operation Confirmation dialog box, click OK.
