Can a File System Be Mounted Across Accounts?

General purpose file systems cannot be mounted across accounts.

Cross-account mounting for SFS Capacity-Oriented file systems is available.

With VPC peering, an SFS Turbo file system can be accessed across accounts. For details about VPC peering connection and usage instructions, see VPC Peering Connection.
