What Functions Will Become Unavailable If a Load Balancer Is Frozen?
A load balancer may be frozen for either of the following reasons:
- Insufficient account balance
- Public security
When a dedicated load balancer is frozen, the following functions will be affected:
- The load balancer will no longer distribute incoming traffic.
- The health check function will be stopped. Health check results of backend servers displayed on the console are the results that were obtained before the load balancer was frozen.
- The load balancer will stop reporting monitoring data to Cloud Eye.
- The following operations cannot be performed through API calls:
- Modifying load balancer parameters except Name and Tag
- Deleting a load balancer if it is frozen due to violations of public security regulations
In this case, resources associated with the load balancer, such as listeners, backend server groups, backend servers, health checks, forwarding policies, and forwarding rules, cannot be created, deleted, or modified.
