Does OCR Support Reading Images from Non-Huawei Cloud Storage?

OCR supports reading image URLs over public HTTP and HTTPS. If you are using non-Huawei Cloud storage, ensure the images are publicly accessible via the Internet.

Huawei Cloud OCR allows images to be read from non-Huawei Cloud storage by accessing them through public HTTP or HTTPS links. This means you do not need to migrate images to Huawei Cloud storage (such as OBS buckets). As long as the images stored on third-party platforms—like other cloud providers' object storage, self-built servers, or public image hosting services—can be accessed via a public HTTP or HTTPS link, that link can be passed as a parameter to the OCR API to initiate the recognition process.
