How Do I Create VPC Endpoints on the VPC Endpoint Console for AOM/LTS?

During application monitoring and log management, the heartbeat, metrics, and logs of applications need to be reported to AOM and LTS to ensure stable application running. However, due to network isolation, the network between the Agent client and server may be disconnected during direct reporting. You can create VPC endpoints to connect the network to AOM/LTS for heartbeat, metric, or log reporting. To connect the network to AOM/LTS using VPC endpoints, you need to purchase two VPC endpoints for AOM (Service Category set to Cloud services and Find a service by name, respectively) and one VPC endpoint for LTS (Service Category set to Cloud services) on the network console.

Creating VPC Endpoints for AOM/LTS

  1. Log in to the VPC Endpoint console.
  2. Click Buy VPC Endpoint.
  3. Buy two VPC endpoints for AOM.

    • Buy the first VPC endpoint for AOM with Service Category set to Cloud services.
      1. On the page for buying a VPC endpoint, select the region where the VPC endpoint is located.
      2. Set Service Category to Cloud services.
      3. Under Service List, search for and select AOM services, and select Create a Private Domain Name.
      4. Select the VPC and Subnet where the VPC endpoint is located. Retain the default values for other parameters. For more information, see Buying a VPC Endpoint.

    • Buy the second VPC endpoint for AOM with Service Category set to Find a service by name.
      1. On the page for buying a VPC endpoint, select the region where the VPC endpoint is located.
      2. Set Service Category to Find a service by name.
      3. Set Service Name in the format of "com.myhuaweicloud.{region-id}.aom-uniagent-ep". Retain the default values for other parameters. For details, see Buying a VPC Endpoint.

  4. Click Submit. After the purchase, the VPC endpoints for AOM are created.
  5. Buy a VPC endpoint for LTS with Service Category set to Cloud services by referring to Buy the first VPC endpoint for AOM with Service Category set to Cloud services.
  6. Click Submit. After the purchase, the VPC endpoint for LTS is created.
