Will I Be Billed After ECSs Are Stopped?

Pay-per-use:
  • For common ECSs (instances without local disks or FPGAs attached, or non-bare metal instances), their basic resources (such as vCPUs, memory, and image) are not billed after they are stopped, but the system disks are still billed based on the capacity you use. The associated resources such as EVS disks, EIPs, and bandwidth, are separately billed.
  • For special ECSs (instances with local disks attached, FPGA-based instances, or bare metal instances), they will continue to be billed after being stopped. To stop the ECS from being billed, delete it and its associated resources.

For a stopped pay-per-use ECS, the startup may fail due to insufficient resources. Please wait for several minutes before attempting another restart or changing the ECS specifications.
