Why Am I Prompted that My Permissions Are Insufficient When Running a Build Task?

Symptoms

A build task fails and an error message appears, indicating that you lack the necessary permissions.

Cause Analysis

If you do not know your role or if it has been changed, you may lack the required permissions to perform builds. This means you will not be able to perform any operations on the task.

Solution

Contact the task or project creator to configure the task operation permissions.

  1. Go to the CodeArts Build homepage.
  2. Click the build task that reports the error. In the upper right corner, click Edit. The build task configuration page is displayed.
  3. Click the Permissions tab and enable the operation permissions by referring to the following figure.
