Step 3 Configuring Agent-based ModelArts Access Authorization

After assigning IAM permissions, configure ModelArts access authorization for IAM users on ModelArts so that ModelArts can access dependency services such as OBS, SWR, and IEF. In agent-based ModelArts access, only tenant users can set up IAM user permissions. However, IAM users with admin permission can also set up agency authorization.

In this example, the administrator account needs to configure access authorization for IAM users.

1. Log in to the ModelArts console as the tenant user. Select your region in the upper left corner.
2. In the navigation pane on the left, click Permissions to go to the permission management page.
3. Click Add Authorization. On the displayed page, set Authorized User to IAM user, Authorized To to the target IAM user, and Agency to Add agency.

4. In the Permissions area, select Common, and set Permission Template as required. You can configure the minimum authorization for the IAM user based on the preset permission template.

5. Click Create.
