API Overview

VBS provides VBS APIs and some native OpenStack APIs.

With these APIs, you can use all functions provided by VBS.

**Table 1** APIs
API Type	Category	Description
VBS APIs	Backup management	Query the backup and restoration capabilities of target resources, as well as create backups for target resources.
	Backup policy management	Create backup policies for automatic backups and manage backup policies.
	Tag management	Tag shared backups, making backups easier to be backed up.
	Quota management	Manage quotas.
Native OpenStack APIs	Backup management	Manage backups, including creating, deleting, and sharing backups, as well as restoring data using backups.
