Querying the Domain Name Resolution Information of a Load Balancer

Function

This API is used to query the domain name resolution configuration of all IP addresses of a load balancer. This includes whether the IP addresses of the load balancer are mapped to domain names and their corresponding domain names.

Note: Only the IP addresses that have domain name resolution enabled will be returned. If only public domain name resolution is enabled, only the public IP addresses and their domain names will be returned. If neither public nor private domain name resolution is enabled for the load balancer, an empty list will be returned.

Authorization Information

Each account has all the permissions required to call all APIs, but IAM users must be assigned the required permissions.

  • If you are using role/policy-based authorization, see Permissions Policies and Supported Actions for details on the required permissions.
  • If you are using identity policy-based authorization, no identity policy-based permission required for calling this API.

  • If page_reverse is set to true and you want to query the resources on the previous page, set the value of marker to the value of previous_marker.

  • true: Query resources on the previous page.

  • false: Query resources on the next page.

Default value: false

ip_address

Definition: Specifies an IPv4 or IPv6 address.

Multiple values can be used for query in the format of ip_address=xxx&ip_address=xxx.

Constraints: The IP address must be a private or public IP address of the load balancer.

Definition: Whether domain name resolution is enabled for the IP address.

Constraints: N/A

Range:

  • true: Domain name resolution is enabled for the IP address.

  • false: Domain name resolution is disabled for the IP address.

Multiple values can be used for query in the format of type=xxx&type=xxx.

  • vip: private IP address

Definition: Specifies the domain name to which the IP address of the load balancer is mapped.

Multiple values can be used for query in the format of domain_name=xxx&domain_name=xxx.

Constraints:

  • If the IP address is a private IP address, the value is a private domain name.

  • If the IP address is a public IP address, the value is a public domain name.

Range: N/A

enterprise_project_id

Definition: Specifies the ID of the enterprise project.

Multiple values can be used for query in the format of enterprise_project_id=xxx&enterprise_project_id=xxx.

Constraints:

  • If enterprise_project_id is not specified, resources in all enterprise projects are queried by default. Fine-grained authorization is performed. The elb:loadbalancers:listDnsConfig permission must be assigned to the user group.

  • If enterprise_project_id is specified, the value can be a specific enterprise project ID or all_granted_eps. If the value is a specific enterprise project ID, only resources in the enterprise project are queried. If the value is all_granted_eps, resources in the enterprise projects with the elb:loadbalancers:listDnsConfig permission are queried.
