Why Is an IP Address Still Blocked After Being Deleted from the Blacklist or Whitelist?

Symptom

After an IP address is deleted from the blacklist or whitelist, the access is still blocked, and the rule does not take effect immediately.

Cause Analysis

This is not a system fault. It is caused by the rule cache refresh mechanism.

When you perform a deletion operation, the change is written to the database in real time. However, the cache on the edge node does not become invalid immediately. You need to wait for a complete cache period.

Solution

After performing the deletion operation, wait for several minutes and then verify the operation.
