Managing a Read Replica
Entering the Management Interface Through a Read Replica
- Log in to the management console.
- Click in the upper left corner of the page and choose Databases > Relational Database Service.
- On the Instances page, click in front of the DB instance and click the target read replica to go to the Basic Information page.
Entering the Management Interface Through DAS
- Log in to the management console.
- Click in the upper left corner of the page and choose Databases > Relational Database Service.
- On the Instances page, locate the target DB instance and click in front of it. In the expanded panel, locate the read replica you want to manage and click Log In in the Operation column.
- On the displayed page, enter the username and password and click Log In.
Entering the Management Interface Through a Primary DB Instance
- Log in to the management console.
- Click in the upper left corner of the page and choose Databases > Relational Database Service.
- Click the name of the primary DB instance with which the target read replica is associated to go to the Basic Information page.
- In the DB instance topology, click the name of the target read replica. You can view and manage it in the displayed pane.
Deleting a Read Replica
- Log in to the management console.
- Click in the upper left corner of the page and choose Databases > Relational Database Service.
- On the Instances page, click in front of a DB instance, locate the read replica to be deleted, and choose in the Operation column.
- In the displayed dialog box, select I have read this warning and understand the risks. and click Yes.
