Change the Time Zone
Scenarios
The time zone of an RDS for SQL Server instance can be set during instance purchase. You can change it after the instance is purchased.
Precautions
After a time zone change, a PITR to a time before the change will no longer be possible.
Procedure
- Log in to the RDS console.
- Click
in the upper left corner and select a region. - On the Instances page, click the target instance name to go to the Summary page.
- Find the Time Zone field and click Configure.
- In the displayed dialog box, select a time zone and click OK. Figure 1 Changing the time zone
