Ignoring a Server

You can ignore the servers that do not need to be protected. HSS will neither protect the ignored servers nor synchronize the information changes of the ignored servers.

Ignoring a Server

  1. Log in to the HSS console.
  2. Click in the upper left corner and select a region or project.
  1. In the navigation pane on the left, choose Asset Management > Servers & Quota.
  2. (Optional) If you have enabled the enterprise project function, select an enterprise project from the Enterprise Project drop-down list in the upper part of the page to view its data.
  3. Click the Servers tab.
  4. Set filter criteria to filter unprotected servers.

  5. Select the target server and click More > Ignore above the server list to ignore the server.

    In the server type area on the left, click Ignored Servers under Attribute to view ignored servers.

Unignoring a Server

  1. Log in to the HSS console.
  2. Click in the upper left corner and select a region or project.
  1. In the navigation pane on the left, choose Asset Management > Servers & Quota.
  2. (Optional) If you have enabled the enterprise project function, select an enterprise project from the Enterprise Project drop-down list in the upper part of the page to view its data.
  3. Click the Servers tab.
  4. In the Attribute area, choose Ignored Servers to view the list of ignored servers.
  5. In the row of an ignored server, click Unignore in the Operation column.

    At the top of the server type area on the left, click All Servers. You can view the unignored server in the server list.
