Re-applying for a Revoked SSL Certificate

Prerequisites

The certificate status is Revoked.

Constraints

• After a free certificate is revoked, you cannot apply for a new one.
• After a certificate of a different brand is revoked, the following restrictions must be met when you apply for a new certificate:
  • If your GlobalSign certificate is revoked within six days after it is issued, you can apply for a new certificate.
  • If other certificates are revoked within 28 days after being issued, you can apply for a new certificate.

Procedure

1. Log in to the management console.
2. Click in the upper left corner of the page and choose Security & Compliance > Cloud Certificate Management Service. The service console is displayed.
3. In the navigation pane on the left, choose SSL Certificate Manager > SSL Certificates.
4. In the row containing the target certificate, click Reapply in the Operation column.

5. On the Re-apply page, enter the application information.
   • You can apply for a new certificate based on the information entered during the last certificate application or modify the existing information.

6. After confirming that the entered information is correct, read through the Cloud Certificate Manager Statement, Privacy Statement, the authorization statement, and check the box to agree to the disclaimer and statements, and click Submit.

   The system will submit your application to the CA. During the approval process, make sure that you can be reached by phone and that you regularly check for emails from the CA.
