Configuring Cross-Subnet Access

Add the subnet of your client. Ensure that the ECS where your client is installed can connect to the DB instance.

This section describes how to configure cross-subnet access for a DB instance.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the DDS console.
  2. On the Instance Management page, click the target DB instance.
  3. In the navigation pane on the left, choose Connections.
  4. In the Address area, click Enable to the right of Cross-Subnet Access, and then specify the client subnet details
  5. After the cross-subnet access function is enabled, Enabled is displayed to the right of Cross-Subnet Access.

    If you need to change the client subnet, click Change to the right of Cross-Subnet Access. Currently, you can only add VPCs and subnets but not change or delete them.
