Description

  • Dynamic BGP

    Dynamic BGP automatically selects the optimal route for your EIP traffic based on the real-time network conditions and preset policies, ensuring network stability and user experience.

  • Static BGP

    Static BGP is manually configured by network carriers. When changes occur on a network using static BGP, carriers cannot adjust network configurations in real time to ensure optimal user experience.

How Do I Select a Route?

  • If your application system requires high network stability, select dynamic BGP.
  • If your application system has certain DR functions, select static BGP for cost-effectiveness.

Can I Change the EIP Route for an Existing ECS?

Sorry, the EIP route cannot be directly changed once an ECS is created, but you can unbind the EIP first and then bind a different EIP to the ECS.

To do so, locate the target ECS in the ECS list and choose More > Manage Network > Unbind EIP or Bind EIP in the Operation column.
