Variable Assignment
The variable assignment processor is used to create multiple variables for use in subsequent steps, while the variable modification processor is used to update variable values.
Configuration Parameters

Name |
Enter the name of the variable. |
Type |
Type of the variable. Supported types are: string, integer, long integer, decimal, boolean, and object. |
Value |
Enter the value of the variable. The value can be a constant, for example, hello world. You can also use an expression to reference variables from previous nodes, for example, ${a} and ${payload}. |

After assigning a value, click the variable to reference it. The figure below illustrates the available reference data.
