Viewing Custom Type
If basic types do not meet your requirements or are inconvenient for use, you can create a new type in the SQL window.
After a user-defined type is created, you can view its details on the DAS console.
Procedure
- Log in to the DAS console.
- Click in the upper left corner and select a region and project.
- Click in the upper left corner, and under Databases, click Data Admin Service.
- In the navigation pane on the left, choose Development Tool.
You can also click Go to Development Tool on the overview page.
- Locate the DB instance that you want to log in to and click Log In in the Operation column.
- On the top menu bar, choose Keyspace Management.
- Click Change Keyspace on the right of current keyspace to switch to the keyspace where you want to create a table.

- In the object list, choose Custom Type.
You can search for user types by type name.
- Locate the user type you want to view and click View in the Operation column.
- In the displayed dialog box, obtain the user type details.
