Overview
If no measures are taken when a unit of a system is faulty, the fault may spread on a large scale, causing the entire system to fail. Fault isolation aims to limit faults to specific set of components, minimizing fault impact and preventing cascading failures.
Effective fault isolation requires dividing domains to minimize workload impacts.
