When Is the Fee Deducted for Auto Renewals?

  1. If you do not set a fee deduction date for auto renewals, the system will deduct the fee at 03:00 (GMT+08:00) seven days before the resource expires. Once you set a fee deduction date, the system deducts the fee at 03:00 (GMT+08:00) on the specified date. Ensure that you have sufficient account balance or credits in your added credit card. For details about how to set a fee deduction date for auto renewals, see Setting a Fee Deduction Date for Auto Renewals.
  2. If the fee deduction for an auto renewal fails due to insufficient account balance or credits of your added credit card, the system will attempt to deduct fees at 03:00 (GMT+08:00) every day before the resource expires. Once the fee deduction is successful, the resource is renewed.
  3. If you enable auto-renewal for a nearly expired resource that will expire before 03:00 (GMT+08:00) on the expiration date, the renewal may fail. To prevent this, the auto-renewal fee is deducted immediately upon enabling auto-renewal.
