System Collection

Description

admin.system.roles

Stores user-defined roles created and assigned to users to provide access to specific resources.

admin.system.users

Stores a user's authentication credentials and all roles assigned to the user.

admin.system.version

Stores the architecture version of the user credential document.

<database>.system.namespaces

Contains all collection information in the database.

<database>.system.indexes

lists all indexes in a database.

<database>.system.profile

Contains slow query logs of a database.

<database>.system.js

Contains special JavaScript code for server-side JavaScript.

<database>.system.views

Contains information about each view of a database.
