Server Specifications

This section describes ASE ECS specifications. For details about the ECSs for SAP applications powered on the SAP ASE database, see the ECS Flavors for SAP NetWeaver. You can choose from ECSs with the following specifications based on the business scale and application system requirements.

Small-scale

This scheme is applicable to the small enterprise resource planning (ERP) system or other SAP systems, such as PI, SAP Portal product portfolio, CRM, and SRM. M3 ECSs are suitable for development, testing, and production systems. Table 1 lists the specifications.

Medium-scale
