Creating an RDS for MySQL Instance
Create an RDS for MySQL instance associated with the DDM instance.
Procedure
- Log in to the management console.
- Click in the upper left corner and select a region and project.
- Click the service list icon on the left and choose Databases > Relational Database Service.
- Click Buy DB Instance.
- Configure the instance name and basic information.
- Configure instance specifications.
- Select a VPC and security group for the instance and configure the database port.
The VPC and security group have been created in Creating a VPC and Security Group.
The RDS for MySQL instance must be in the same VPC and subnet as your DDM instance.
- Configure the instance password.
- Click Next.
- Confirm your settings.
- To modify your settings, click Previous.
- If you do not need to modify your settings, click Submit.
- Return to the instance list.
If the instance status becomes available, the instance has been created.
