Application Scenarios
CBR enables you to back up ECSs and disks with ease. In case of a virus attack, accidental deletion, or software or hardware fault, you can restore data to any point in the past when the data was backed up. For details, see CBR Overview.
If the backup interval is too long, data loss risks increase. If data is damaged or lost between two backups, all changes and new data generated during this period will be lost. This may have a serious impact on services.
Solution
Create backups for your EVS disks. For details, see Backing Up EVS Disks. Set a proper backup policy to automatically back up resources. For details, see Policy Management Overview.
Rule Logic
- If an EVS disk is backed up within the specified period, this system is compliant.
- If an EVS disk does not have a backup created within the specified period, this disk is non-compliant.
