Application Scenarios
GaussDB provides instance backup and restoration to ensure data reliability. Backups are stored in unencrypted form. To prevent data loss caused by misoperations or service exceptions, you can perform the operations suggested in GaussDB Security Configuration.
Solution
An instance-level automated backup policy is enabled by default during GaussDB instance creation. After an instance is created, you can configure an automated backup policy for GaussDB instances as required.
Rule Logic
- If no automated backup policy is enabled for a GaussDB instance, the instance is non-compliant.
- If the automated backup policy is enabled for a GaussDB instance, the instance is compliant.
