Modifying Database Remarks

Scenarios

RDS allows you to modify remarks for databases.

The Remarks column is displayed for all instances of the latest minor version. If the Remarks column is not displayed on the console, check and upgrade the minor version of your instance.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the management console.
  2. Click in the upper left corner and select a region.
  3. Click in the upper left corner of the page and choose Databases > Relational Database Service.
  4. On the Instances page, click the DB instance name.
  5. In the navigation pane, choose Databases.
  6. Locate the target database and click in the Remarks column.

    The database remarks can be empty or contain up to 512 characters.

    • To submit the modification, click .
    • To cancel the modification, click .
