Binding an EIP to a Proxy Instance

After a proxy instance is created, you can bind an EIP to it. Later, you can also unbind the EIP from the proxy instance as required.

Constraints

To use this function, submit an application by choosing Service Tickets > Create Service Ticket in the upper right corner of the management console.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the management console.
  2. Click in the upper left corner and select a region and project.
  3. Click in the upper left corner of the page, choose Databases > GaussDB(for MySQL).
  4. On the Instances page, click the target DB instance name to go to the Basic Information page.
  5. In the navigation pane, choose Database Proxy.
  6. Click a proxy instance name to go to the Basic Information page.
  7. In the Proxy Instance Information area, click Bind next to Public IP Address (EIP).

  8. In the displayed dialog box, select the target EIP and click OK.

  9. On the Basic Information page, view that the EIP has been bound to the proxy instance.

    To unbind an EIP from the instance, click Unbind next to Public IP Address (EIP). In the displayed dialog box, click Yes to unbind the EIP.
