Introduction to Process Monitoring
Process monitoring monitors active processes on a server. After installing the Cloud Eye Agent on a server, you can collect the number of system processes on it. You can also configure custom process monitoring to monitor the number of processes that contain specific keywords and collect information about the CPU, memory usage, and number of opened files of specified processes.
You can set alarm rules for these processes to monitor the number of processes.
Cloud Eye allows you to add processes in batches for monitoring. For details, see Adding Processes for Monitoring.
After adding a process for monitoring, you can view its CPU usage, memory usage, and number of opened files on the Process Monitoring page. For details, see Viewing Process Monitoring.
You can modify or delete a process monitoring task, and set alarm rules for the number of processes on specified servers. When the number of processes decreases or increases, you can receive an alarm notification. For details, see Managing Process Monitoring.
