Importing and Exporting RTDService Metadata

Importing and Exporting RTDService Metadata
Scenario
The metadata import and export functions are used to support RTDService job migration. You can use this function to migrate jobs without interrupting services.
RTD metadata can be imported and exported in the following scenarios:
- You can imports and exports event source metadata, including event source information, packet fields in an event source, and dimension mapping information.
- You can import and export variables and rule configurations, including real-time query variables, stored procedure rules, and metadata of blacklist and whitelist rules.
Importing and Exporting Event Source Metadata
- Log in to the RTD web UI as a service user and select a tenant. For details, see Accessing the RTDService Web UI.
- Choose Business Management > Basic Configuration > Event Source Management.
- Import or export event source metadata.
- Export: In the Operation column of the event source to be exported, click Export.
- Import: Click Import. In the displayed dialog box, select the file to be imported and click Upload. The file must be a tar.gz file.
Importing and Exporting the Metadata of Variables and Configuring Rules
- Log in to the RTD web UI as a service user and select a tenant. For details, see Accessing the RTDService Web UI.
- Choose Business Management > Variable and Rule Configuration.
- Perform the following steps to import or export variable and rule configuration metadata as required:
- Metadata of real-time query variables
- Export: Choose Real-Time Query Variables from the navigation pane on the left, select the variables to be exported, and click More > Export.
- Import: Choose Real-Time Query Variables from the navigation pane on the left and click More > Import. In the displayed dialog box, select the file to be imported and click Upload. The file must be a tar.gz file.
- Metadata of stored procedure rules
- Export: Choose Stored Procedure Rules from the navigation pane on the left, select the rules to be exported, and click More > Export.
- Import: Choose Stored Procedure Rules from the navigation pane on the left and click More > Import. In the displayed dialog box, select the file to be imported and click Upload. The file must be a tar.gz file.
- Metadata of Blacklist/Whitelist Rules
- Export: Choose Blacklist and Whitelist Filtering Rules from the navigation pane on the left, select the rules to be exported, and click More > Export.
- Import: Choose Blacklist and Whitelist Filtering Rules from the navigation pane on the left and click More > Import. In the displayed dialog box, select the file to be imported and click Upload. The file must be a tar.gz file.
