How Do I Get My Account ID and IAM User ID? (SDK for Python)
Obtaining Account, IAM User, and Project Information
- Using the console
- On the Huawei Cloud homepage, click Console in the upper right corner.
- In the upper right corner, hover over the username and choose My Credentials from the drop-down list.

- On the API Credentials page, view the account name, account ID, IAM user name, IAM user ID, project name, and project ID.
The project ID varies depending on the region where your service is located.

- To obtain a user ID, see Listing IAM Users.
- To obtain a user ID, see Querying Project Information.
Obtaining User Group Information
- Log in to the Huawei Cloud console, access the IAM console, and choose User Groups in the navigation pane.
- Expand the details of the desired user group and view its name and ID.
Obtaining Region Information
- Log in to the Huawei Cloud console, access the IAM console, and choose Projects in the navigation pane.
- View the content in the Project Name column. The content in this column indicates the ID of the region where the project belongs.
Obtaining Agency Information
- Log in to the Huawei Cloud console, access the IAM console, and choose Agencies in the navigation pane.
- Hover over the desired agency to view its name (in the first line) and ID (in the second line) in the dark pop-up box.
